This article shows that the successful solution of the issues of strengthening the country's defense is closely related to the education of young people, political consciousness, the pace of labor activity and scientific and technological development. Education consists of objectively justified processes of people's orientation towards physical and mental work or other activities useful for society, while preparing them to perform multifaceted social tasks. The information is given that military-patriotic education is an integral part of it.
