This article discusses strategies for teaching fractions by connecting the abstract to the concrete with physical and visual models ,how to use fluency-building fraction activities to engage students when explaining fractions ,why it is important to demonstrate equivalent representations of numbers when teaching fractions, below is a preview of some of the various topics covered in this article.
